My Computers
These are all the computers/laptops I currently own. I really like tinkering around with them, so I thought it would be cool to show them to you. If I ever get a new one, I will probably make a new blog post instead of expanding on this one, as it would probably be a more proper review in that case.
My Main PC
My current main PC I got around late February of 2025. It's been running Arch Linux with the KDE Plasma desktop ever since. I'm not going to show my on-desk setup for this one since it's decorated with some personal stuff that I'd rather not share at the current time.
My Old PC
My old, retired main machine that still has Windows 10 on it. Nowadays I only really use it if I really need some old file from it that I haven't moved to my new PC yet. I've been thinking of refitting it as a server of some kind, but I don't really know for what purpose yet.
Thinkpad X220
Yeah, I know, the Meme-Pad X220... It really is a good machine, though! I've had it for a couple of years now and have been using it almost daily for university-related stuff and even as my main machine for a while during the time my old main PC was broken for a few months. This is also the machine that I first used Linux on with Pop!_OS, and it managed to run even a heavier distro like this one with relative ease. It currently runs Debian 12 with XFCE and bspwm.
Thinkpad X60
Currently runs Artix with dwm. I don't really have any use for it at the moment, and I only use/update it very infrequently. The main use it had for some time was teaching me how to use Arch-based/non-systemd systems.
Thinkpad T60
I originally used this machine as a backup second system (running Debian 12) for the time I used my X220 as a main machine. For a while it also had 9front running on it, but nowadays it's a Windows XP machine (with Service Pack 4) since I mainly use it to play older games and visual novels. It's obviously not connected to the internet, and I mainly use a USB stick and some burned discs to move stuff from and to the laptop.
